    One thing that I could do to save more energy would be to unplug my phone or computer charging cords when I'm not using them!

    Practicing gratitude helps remind me that there are so many people who want to see me succeed and that is what helps to keep me motivated. It makes me want to do my part in making the world better for them.

    An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

    I always knew that people throw away a lot of food but I never would have guessed it to be 240 lbs per year! The money that is spent on food that's thrown away could be better spent on items to improve other aspects of our health or for fun activities to do with your family.
