I think things are going well for the eco-challenge but I personally keep forgetting to update my feed!!!!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Water Say No to Plastic Straws
What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

The biggest single-use item I have been using during the pandemic has been takeout boxes. Some of them can be re-used but a lot of them need to be thrown away.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

I have no barrier to using reusable water bottles. My water bottle is emotional support for me.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

    Morgan Taylor's avatar
    Morgan Taylor 4/03/2021 9:48 AM
I know that eating meat affects our planet because of the amount of land, water, and resources that are needed to cultivate meat products. I think people in richer countries see eating meat as a status symbol but it is really just depleting resources.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
