    Nature Do Nature Activities
What did you observe while spending time outside -- through sight, sound, smell and/or touch?

I observed so much while spending time outside. For this whole week I actually went for hikes after work, and it honestly felt great. What I did observe being in nature was how much pollution we had in our skys, and how it was harder to breathe at higher points touched during my hikes. I could hear the freeways from miles away, and others that were on the hike alongside me. Overall, I enjoyed my time in nature this week, and will most certainly be continuing this act throughout other following weeks as well!

      Hey Alissa!
I love hiking it always feels so great and the views are always amazing. The pollution is always sad to see when looking into the Skys. It's always enjoyable to go on hikes tho. I actually went to Washington with a close friend to hike and it was beautiful I definitely recommend.

I plan on contributing to buying more groceries and supplies that are needed around the house (weekly)!

Hi Alissa, I thought the same, I'm planning into buying more organic foods and make healthier meals for my family.

Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

The barriers of myself carrying a reusable, tap filled bottle is that sometimes I'm in a rush for work. And grabbing a pre-packaged water bottle just seems easier. But I could refrain from this if I pack the night before, meaning my lunch and reusable bottle that is already filled.

Hi Alissa, that's a great idea for being able to use a reusable water bottle even when in a rush. In my opinion when choosing a reusable water bottle it is better to choose one made of metal instead of plastic, as plastic bottles when washed will release micro pollutants into the water system.

    Waste Use Reusable Bags
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

I had been using grocery bags for the longest. Switching to a reusable bag for work and lunch has been one the smartest decisions, and it's Eco-efficient! I honestly don't know what I'd do if I couldn't use a reusable bag or if i had to carry things in my hand. I would be a mess. Getting a reusable bag helps to save our world from disposed plastic bags.

Making a switch to reusable bags was super difficult because I always forget the bag either at home or inside my car. I found an easier way by spending a little money to get a small attachment that would make it stay on my keys. Do you usually keep the bag in your pocket or do you have an alternative option so that you wouldn't forget?
