Health
Exercise Daily
Exercise is a great stress blaster! I will exercise for 120 minute(s) each day.
Waste
Skip the Straw
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 3 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.

I will avoid sending 2 disposable cup(s) to the landfill each day by using a reusable mug.

I will keep 4 disposable plastic bottle(s) from entering the waste stream by using a reusable water bottle.

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Allie Schneyr 11/24/2019 11:06 PMDoing color guard allows me to get in a workout basically everyday while spending time with my friends. In addition, going on runs and hiking with a friend can be beneficial as it allows you to spend time with someone while getting in a workout and connecting with the outdoors! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Allie Schneyr 11/24/2019 11:02 PMSometimes it can be challenging to make the switch when having a reusable cup is accessible. For example, if I'm out and all of a sudden I decide I want coffee but don't have my reusable cup, it can be very tempting to just go for the single use. Now I try to bring a reusable cup/mug with me so I know I won't have to waste a single use.
