    Big system problems can be overwhelming to address. You have to be creative to find solutions that work for all stakeholders and still create the positive outcome desired. Creative solutions are often more attractive and better accepted, which helps move the needed changes along.

    I am a coffee on the go gal. I know I need to do better at keeping a mug with me, but my long commute to work takes me by coffee drive throughs were BYO mugs are hard to use. I need to do better here!!! I wish there was more incentives and discounts at store to help keep me motivated.

    Barriers:  Many people do not understand the effects of their actions, including the use of single-use plastics like water bottles.  Also, many would opt to use-and-trash rather than use-and-clean. Success:  Show people images of what happens when the world uses single-use plastics to combat the "out of site, out of mind" mentality. ...

    My challenge is going great. Having a hard time with the personal waste audit-- it's a balance between home and work. I have enjoyed the challenges to eat better, and haven't really bought anything except food (even for my kids) since the challenge started.

    I love my phone. However, we have gone device free in the evenings at home on school nights. It's been great. Meals and home, paired with no devices and a dog walk after dinner have really cleared the ming. Challenge is... It's getting dark so early. It's a lot to pack in after a long day at work.

    This indian summer weather has been awesome. Bike to boats this weekend, yard work/leaf raking, walk with my kids, bonfire with friends.... It's been great to be outside and enjoy the leaves starting to change.
