  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Zero-Waste Cooking
In North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for using every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable (including the skins, tops, stalks, etc.) during your next meal prep?

ok so for my next meal i could do, well its not a meal but its a like drink, so whenever u eat some pineapple, what you do is that you take the skin off and you would usually throw it away but my dad boils it, and the water in which it was being boiled is supposedly good for you, personally i dont like it
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Whole Food Lifestyle
Michael Pollan states that “it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor.” What are your thoughts on this assertion?

Scotty Miranda (FIRE TRUCK) 5/04/2021 12:42 PM
I mean he has a point to a certain extant because 1. if you don't pay the grocer/farmer, then there not going to let u get anything... And 2. If you don't pay the doctors then ur just gonna have a fee to pay BUT if u have incurrence then that's a different story

I would say the most prominent water concerns are water pollution on lakes, rivers, oceans, and etc. because pollution problems have been growing rapidly.
