Hosting documentary-watching events through the CJR with my ambassador group has been a great way to engage in difficult conversations and discuss how we can make a change!

I would like to create more space for spiritual reflection and time to make decisions regarding next year. One practice that helps me with this is yoga, but I also enjoy going to the prayer chapel.

I usually use single-use from the caf and I am working on bringing Tupperware from my room. The problem with this is that it is really hard to carry it around all day and I normally don't get back to the dorm until around 9.

Recently, I have been challenging myself to only drive if it is absolutely necessary. I have been using my roommate's bird scooter a lot more and it also encourages me to be more intentional with my time to leave 10 mins earlier and walk.

I think it was nice to take a break from my phone but I ended up being overwhelmed and not enjoying my meal.

    Simplicity Track my Purchases
What have you noticed about your purchases? Where are you inclined to make shifts, if any?

    julia siu's avatar
    julia siu 3/28/2022 8:10 AM
I have noticed that most of my purchases are food or splurge-of-the-moment purchases. I think I can change my practices by thinking more before I buy something.

I think my campus eco-challenge is going well but it has been hard to check in everyday due to a busy life

    Simplicity Limit Social Media
Social media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also create echo chambers and take more time than we realize or intend to give. After completing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?

I notice I am more confident in who I am because I am not comparing myself and my experiences to others as often.

I am able to. slow down and appreciate the small bugs, flowers, rocks, and bushes when I walk rather than drive.
