    How can you prevent yourself from accumulating more unnecessary things in the future?

    I've never been one for accumulating things (except guitars and amps), but it's amazing how much STUFF I've amassed anyway. When I had to move my mother-in-law's stuff about 10 years ago, I became much more conscious and determined to really consider whether a thing is an absolute need before acquiring it.

    Making time for contemplation, family, and personal hygiene has to be more important than attending immediately to every email that comes in.

    There are a lot of folks who do eco-deeds daily in my building without recognition. Always inspired to watch students and colleagues divert reusable / recyclable items from the trash on my floor.
