i noticed that it made my overall mood better. i was able to be more productive and spend less time aimlessly doing nothing. it wasn't very hard since baseball and school took up a good chunk of time that I would otherwise be using my phone.

one are i want to focus more on is dispose of waste properly. just from walking around town and on beaches and in parks, i've noticed that plastics and other waste is left all over the place. i'd like to get more involved with disposing waste properly and making wate disposal more accesable.

one thing that I found that works the best for me is winding down for about 20 minutes before i decide to sleep. another thing that worked better for me is engaging in intense physical activity for at least 1-2 hours throughout the day. one thing i would shift is the time i decide to wind down. because of practices and other circumstances, I would be going to sleep at around 1:00-2:00 in the morning. I would shift that to around 11:00-12:00 to get even more sleep.

    Food Zero-Waste Cooking
In North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for using every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable (including the skins, tops, stalks, etc.) during your next meal prep?

one way i can incorporate these skills, when purchasing meats, cook and eat the meats and use bones for bone broth or chew toys of dogs or other animals. when dealing with veggies, lettuce can be eaten  then used as compost in a garden. and any excess food can be used as compost as well

    Waste Carry my Trash
What one thing could you do right away to reduce your waste?

one thing that I can do to reduce my waste is adapt a needs vs. wants lifestyle and only buy things I need. This will reduce waste because i will have less to throw out. another thing that i can do to add to this is use re usable material and purchase things second hand or without packaging.   this will decrease the amount of trash I produce because packaging produces most of the waste when dealing with buying things.
