The challenge I designed to do was to create Halloween decorations out of recycled items through my household but instead, I started using the items I collected to create organizational things like shampoo bottles into a pencil holder or just resuing the item as much as possible.

I wished that we got more credit for making up challenges because I belove creativity should be awarded.

I feel like sometimes the challenge was just only the challenge but other times had this impact of making me see the world from a whole new perspective. Which I liked but also felt weird about.

An area that I definitely recommend visiting while in Hawaii is the Ho'omaluhia Botanical garden. I visited there with a group of friends and it is a very clam relaxing experience. But if you take the time to enjoy it because if not you can just run past everything and not see the beauty of the place. But while I was there I questioned the sustainability behind the botanical garden. Since I feel like we see them everywhere but we don't really understand the effects of them.

To be more eco-friendly after the challenge I am going to change the items I buy. A really basic example is shampoo or like changing the places I buy from like from Urban Outfitters or H&M  to like thrifting or like Patagonia.

Previously I went to do a beach clean up and this Thursday we are going to make art out of the microplastics we found. I am super excited to design something cool out of something that is known to be bad.
