REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Tanajah Steen 7/25/2021 9:44 PMSome implications from us spending most of our time indoors is that we miss everything going on right in front of us. When we're inside we can watch movies or documentaries about nature but it's not the same as being there physically. I do feel that spending more time outdoors can help alleviate a little bot of stress since it's just you and nature.-
Basheer Alkam 7/25/2021 11:50 PMHey Tanajah, I agree how indoor learning can be helpful, but visiting outdoors is another feeling of happiness. Everytime I leave my workspace and head outside for fresh air, I feel my mood getting better. It is definitely the medicine we all need.

REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Turn it offHow is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?
Tanajah Steen 7/18/2021 10:42 PMWhere I live energy is mainly generated by electromechanical generators. In my house hold we do have solar panels which is better for the planet because it uses the sun to create power.-
Parris Allen 7/18/2021 11:23 PMHey Steen!
That sounds so cool to have solar panels and I love how it helps the environment but unfortunately at the apartments that I currently reside in that is not an option for solar panels but as soon as I move out and into my own house i'm definitely going to do solar. I actually convinced my mom to go solar this weekend which was great.

REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Go for a Daily WalkHow do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?
Tanajah Steen 7/11/2021 11:36 PMWhen walking I feel like you can pay attention to the details a little bit better When driving in a car especially if you're the driver you can't really pay attention to the details or landmarks. Walking gives you this freedom to take your time and embrace everything.-
Ibiyinka Ibitoye 7/14/2021 5:54 PMI experience my neighborhood by walking every day, visit new places every day to see the beauty of the surrounding
