    Nature Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

I would not necessarily says this rings true for me. I think cultures that spend most of their time indoors implicated people who are too attached to their television, phones, gaming system and computers to get out and take a second to enjoy the world around them. Inside will always be there but the outside might not always be. COVID-19 has taught us that if not anything else

    Nature Enjoy the Sunrise/Sunset
Father Thomas Berry says, "... our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." What is your response to Berry's assertion?

I feel as if Berry is trying to saying that with ever sunset and dawn you should celebrate and enjoy everything that is around you. For every new day brings growth and new energy

I can not believe today is the last day for the challenge. I definitely feel like this challenge has made me more aware during my life habits and the impact it puts on the Earth

How can you use Ecochallenge.org programs to help mobilize your community to take action toward a sustainable future?

Ecochallenge.org has so many useful tools to help educate and get you started to create your own goals outside of the website. I would use to make a more sustainable future by starting with how much water we waste everyday. That seems to be the biggest problem I see across the board

    Simplicity Limit Social Media
Social media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also create echo chambers and take more time than we realize or intend to give. After completing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?

I'm also on my phone, everytime I wake up till the minute I go sleep it is such a hard habit for me to break it is so addicting. But as I scroll on my socials looking at other people lives/ pictures is kind of depressing at times because I find myself just comparing myself to other women and it just frustrates me. So while I took a break from social media it has allowed me to open up to myself, take a moment to learn and reevaluate the many amazing traits I have and the many amazing things I have done in life. Taking a step back from social media has allowed me to recoop myself and truly find my purpose in life,

I learned that the orcas at Seaworld are mistreated and should not be kept in those tanks. It made me very angry and upset that someone could do that to those animals.
