    Food Zero-Waste Cooking
In North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for using every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable (including the skins, tops, stalks, etc.) during your next meal prep?

I think preserving every part of a vegetable that's available is important and can be used in different recipes in your meals. I know that I like to use skins or scraps as decoration for my food when I'm preparing meals or throw them in the pan when cooking vegetables. It can be as easy as using them to make your meals look fancy or cooking it along with other ingredients.

    Nature Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

I feel like it does ring true to me. There is something about spending time in nature that is undesirable. Breathing the air on top of your hike or even looking at the ocean wave crash something about it is just breath taking. This builds emotional connection to nature that you become more attached and appreciate a lot more for what the planet does for us.

Actively listening to someone is very nice because you are able to talk to and fully understand what one another are trying to say. Both individuals benefit by increasing their communication skills and learn how to actively listen.
