    Waste Reduce Single-Use Disposables
What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted instead?

In my regular day-to-day life, I usually use a few single-use items such as plastic coffee cups and plastic water cups at work. I typically use plastic bags to put my things in when going to a grocery store or a mini-market. Since the beginning of this week, I have started using a multi-use mug for my coffee in the morning. I wash it and use it for water during the day at work for my two trips to the grocery store this week; I used a  reusable plastic bag that I started keeping in my car at all times. I see with this challenge, its not hard to make a change happen to help the environment

Some of the humans activities that impact the health of water would be the disposing of plastic. Recycling correctly and pick up any plastic bags or any type of trash littering around oceans, rivers, lake etc.

a hundred percent correct Monica plastics are so bad on almost all levels and they negatively impact the health of water systems, but I believe that preventing all this plastic from becoming waste and creating such a huge problem is more important than recycling and that cutting and reducing single-use plastic would be one way to have healthy water systems locally and globally.

How is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?

To my knowledge most electricity in San Bernardino comes from generation using Conventional Hydroelectric. This happens when  combined with Natural Gas and Solar. These three fuel types are what makes energy production. San Bernardino has 6 power plants in the city.

    Waste Skip the Straw
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?

I would try my best to refuse all things that are unnecessary in my life. For example I need to start refusing all straw and plastic grocery bags before this challenge I didn't realize that i really don't need them its just a bad habit. I will start to reuse my clothes by creating we ones with the sewing machine I just bought. I will reduce the amount of light In my house hold that's also a bad habitat that can be changed. I will try to repair my camping chairs the broken so help reduce waste. I can repurpose my shoe boxes and use them as storage for important documents.

To my understanding the main water sources in my region are reservoirs. These are provide water all year around and are located in many parts of the region. One of out largest is Lake Lanier, We also have small rivers and lakes and a lot of over sources of water.

    Simplicity Needs Vs. Wants
How is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?

I am the type of person that absolutely would wear an outfit once and then never wear it again. For this challenge creativity had to be my best friend I would have to combine different forms of clothing with different ideas of it. After a while, I realized how wasteful I was being in the clothing part of needs vs wants but I never truly realized how much clothing I had until I was combining my outfits and would see all the shirts and pants I have only worn once and the same never worn at all. Having creativity rather than buying your entire personality will say more about your character rather than being wasteful.

Human activities that are negatively impacting the water sources around the world is pollution. A lot of garbage is being leaked into our water sources such as plastic and this is due to not properly recycling or disposing of these items. To improve this i can make sure to dispose of garbage correctly and motivate my friends and family to do the same.

Hi Christian I think that's a great way to start, by showing that you care about how trash is being disposed shows other people around you how there contributing to hurting the ecosystem.
