April 23 at 5:17 PMInsulating was easy and inexpensive. I did read though that there are more impactful ways to reduce water heating expenses. First, set your water tank to a lower temperature. Second, do your hot water tasks in quick succession so that you take advantage of what is in the pipes.

April 19 at 1:34 PMInsulating water pipes turned out to be very easy and inexpensive, though I’ve read that a greater energy savings is to simply turn the temp down on your water tank.
