When walking, I feel the wind and the brisk air. I hear the animals and everything around me. Yes, it does take longer, but it isn't always a bad thing.

In a large university, a lot of energy has to be generated. We have transformers which house the energy. This has a greater impact on the environment physically. It makes the overall outdoors look less appealing. For the animals, it is a small loss of habitat for them.

La Crosse generates energy through many major facilities that use sources like natural gas, coal, nuclear fuel, water, oil, and wind. Most of these can be harmful to the environment and humans.

Today I had to actually turn on my heat in my house because its getting cold enough at night for the pipes to freeze. However, my roommates and I have set our thermostat to only 65 degrees instead of the normal 70 which still saving energy.
