The Eco Challenge is going well! The hardest part is going on to the computer ( in front of a screen) to log in that I have achieved less screen time and time in front of a computer/social media. But it is a good way to track progress and see the impact.

    Nature Practice Gratitude for Earth
Kathleen Dean Moore says that a sense of gratitude leads to a sense of moral obligation. Do you agree? How can we cultivate a sense of gratitude as individuals, and as a society?

I do Agree with Kathleen Dean Moore's Thought/Opinion on how Gratitude can Lead to a Sense of Moral Obligations ( Obedience, Loyalty, Duty-Purpose).
We can Cultivate a Sense of Gratitude as Individuals and a Society by Respecting others, being Truthful/Honest, creating Goals, and Striving to Accomplish those specific Goals.
Being open to other people and Supporting one another.

plastic bags.  Although I don't intentionally choose the bags, most of the time there the only thing provided or I forgot my reusable bags.

I got to work on remembering my reusable bags and say no to plastic.

I have been able to encourage/inspire my family to use reusable bags instead of plastic ones.

My eco Challenges are going pretty well. I watched the sunrise and sunset today! It was beautiful! I went down to the lake early this morning to watch the sunrise. Waking up early to experience this was totally worth it! Although it was really cold!

It is understood that spending time outdoors will enhance your brainpower by helping you pay more attention to the smaller thing in life. Helping you become more self-aware of what happens in your daily life.

    Health Healthy Sleep
Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?

With the amount of sleep I have gotten currently I feel as if I need to make my schedule more constant with thee times I sleep. Since I try to take naps it messes up my schedule daily (especially on weekends when I work). In order to find what works best for me would be setting the same time everyday to wake up and to go to sleep.

    Food Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

    Emma Mathews's avatar
    Emma Mathews 2/15/2022 8:11 AM
People in richer countries eat more meat than other people since meat is something that is driven by demand. But it affects our planet because it involves needing more land, more greenhouse gases, and CO2 into the environment.

    Health Take Control
How do environmental health, community health, and your personal health intersect?

    Mackenzie Kunkle 2/14/2022 7:27 AM
The healthier I am the healthier I can make the community around me. People affect change in other people so it becomes important for others to incite change. And the more I go out and exercise and the more I go out and am able to eat healthier and more local foods, the better it is for the environment because I am putting less pollution into the air
