    Simplicity Needs Vs. Wants
How is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?

Creativity is necessary because it can allow you to transform simple things into more complex things. You can fulfill your needs using things you would've never thought of using without creativity.

    Hello to anyone reading this,
It is currently my 10th day in quarantine, and I thought, "since I have all this free time, I might as well help save the planet." Every small thing counts so I hope you are completing tasks as well. As someone on twitter said, "some of us are going to come out of this quarantine as professional chefs, and others aren't going to do anything" (or something like that, I can't remember). Might just make good use of this time and become a professional chef or whatever. I figured that even though we are stuck inside, we can still do simple actions such as taking shorter showers, or turning off the lights when not necessary.
^^^I'm reading through the paragraph and it doesn't make any sense but basically what I am implying is that y'all should be completing tasks and earning points for our school

    Water 5-Minute Showers
Name some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?

    Dear Diary,
A next step I can take is to collect rainwater to water my houseplants, or maybe investing in low-flow faucets for my house. I mean, I could also stop showering, but still iffy about that one.

How does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?

Practicing gratitude reminds me of what I am working for and how lucky I am to have so much that other people don't. It can inspire you to create a better world for others as well, others who are not so fortunate as yourself.

How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

    Neha Veeragandham 3/23/2020 7:31 PM
    Dear Diary,
I was considering exercising with my family, not completely sure about it though. Unfortunately, I am unable to spend time in nature as starting tomorrow at 8:00 am, we are advised to stay-at-home.

(p.s. the government doesn't want you to know this but, they are just making us stay at home so they can replace the batteries in the birds) Actually though, stay safe and stay inside

    Health Healthy Sleep
Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?

    Neha Veeragandham's avatar
    Neha Veeragandham 3/23/2020 7:26 PM
I get anywhere from 5-7 hours of sleep each night. I would like to sleep earlier so I can actually be awake in time for A or E period in "online school."  It helps if I don't start watching tik toks before bed, otherwise, I don't sleep for a while.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

    Neha Veeragandham's avatar
    Neha Veeragandham 3/23/2020 7:21 PM
Richer countries have easier access to food such as meat and dairy. The production of these foods emits harmful gases into the air (such as methane), causes people to cut down trees (to make ranches and grazing areas), and consumes a lot of water (to water the crops that feed the animals and to nourish the animals themselves).
