My brother is really into composting and I was having a hard time remembering not to throw away my food waste in the garbage instead of the compost. But because I knew I had to report my food waste, I was better about sorting my food waste.

I live on the east of Gresham and we only have 1 park near me plus two middle middle school with pretty shady trails and in the last four weeks they've been my workout area! I found out the I really enjoyed getting in a morning walk before I start my day and my dog, too! Before this eco challenge I used to hiking when I had time and usually on the weekends. But now when I miss my morning walk my day just isn't the same.

I have planning my meals out since the start of the Eco challenge and what I have noticed is that I've bought less groceries and have sticked to my list and have managed to eat almost all of my groceries. In the last 3 weeks I also noticed that I have consumed less meat and I found new TikTok accounts to help me cook meat alternative dishes that Mexican cuisine. I was surprised to see the many different ways that tofu can be prepared and mix of spices  that give it an almost meat like taste.

I will make sure that folks who are in my network to utilize public transportation instead of their cars whenever possible or at least 1 or 2 days in a week. Thus, I believe this will make difference especially if all people start practicing that. I also try to remove derty things or trash when I see them at any Bus stop.

I went camping with some of my friends at Trillium Lake and we spent the day paddle boarding and hiking and it was genuinely the most fun I've had in a long time. I was so grateful for the time spent disconnected from technology and enjoyed being in nature with some of my closest friends.

It will absolutely make differences over time. Although driving is very helpful to get quickly wherever you want to go, there are so many times we can still take public transportation or just riding a bike can still be ok. thus, I love to ride and walk every time. I make sure to leave my house ahead of time, so I can arrive at my dastnation without being late.
