Cheap, single-use items and disposable packaging end up blowing around as litter more often in poor and POC-majority neighborhoods. I will find out how I can limit single-use items and do my best to limit the waste I generate.

Basheer Alkam 7/25/2021 11:48 PMBefore I started this challenge, I didn't think twice about eating a sugary food. After paying attention to what I am eating more, I have reduced my intake, and hopefully plan to stop my intake of sugar little to nothing.-

Nataly Tejeda 7/28/2021 3:43 PMHi Basheer! Reducing our sugar intake is vital, but it can be difficult. We consume different types of sugars in our diets, such as natural and processed sugars. Eating natural sugars from fruits can be a healthier alternative if you have sugar cravings.

I feel like people during this time are more fake and care about themselves more than others which makes trusting one another harder. We need to stop looking out just for ourselves and actually try to help others and just being there for them when they need it.

Ricardo Chamale-Ventura 7/16/2021 7:49 PMI agree. A long time ago when I started my garden, I realized that it was extremely relaxing and rewarding to do. It helps my mind get off of things and it´s also fun. Recently I´ve been thinking of getting back to it. -

In the morning when I have nothing to do I always go outside and help my mom with tending the garden in which I really do enjoy because I get to understand the process of how to grow fruits and vegetables as well as get to cherish the moment of spending time with my mom.
