Be ready for outages this week guys. Conserve energy wherever you can to help relieve stress on the grid!

Some pictures of my garden, the only plant that stuck with me from the beginning is the green bell peppers the rest didn't fare out so well,  some are just planted about a week ago. I tried to grow: tomatoes, bell peppers, baby beets, chives, zucchini, and egg plant.

I just had a random idea. Why don't all new houses include a smart meter that not only gives standard info like temperature but a simple breakdown of what sources the electricity being used is sourced from? Like if you were to check at 5 pm, in San Diego it would probably be around 75% fossil fuel sourced. If you checked at 6 am, it would be...

Enough Broken bottles and rusted pieces of glass Crumpled up newspaper lost in the grass Flooding concrete plaguing our trees Can this be the environment that goes on around me? Toxins and insecticides splashed onto our food oceans filling with black grim oil Sea life headed doe fatal doom This is what we are to consume? Mills bleeding out...

The next step would be recycling my shower water. And recycle rain water in the winter. I'm also working towards fixing any leaky fixtures in my home.

I feel great cutting down my sugar intake. I don't have that "crash" I would feel mid day!

I would like to sleep for 8 hours every night. I found that not looking of being active on any type of electronics before bed has helped me fall asleep quicker

Went to Lowe's to pick up some more seeds today. All sold out. Apparently the home harvesting craze is on. Not sure if people are just bored at home because of COVID or if it's a trend that will stick long term. Hopefully, it's the latter. Everyone with a garden should be growing their own food nowadays.

It is nice to have two locations to go to, especially since one is coastal and one is inland. If its foggy at the coast, it more than likely sunny and 10 degrees warmer at the inland location which makes it easier to enjoy the outdoors.

I hit a slight speed bump in my quest to becoming a master harvester. My zucchini plant's leaves got ill from mildew so I had to pull most of them before it spread. Luckily the roots were not affected and the plant appears to be recovering and producing. Sometimes I forget how vulnerable these types of plants can be. If I fail to water and...
